Air-Dry Solvent Degreaser
Slow Dry

Degreaser for all metal parts and other surfaces. Use full strength. Use at room temperature; do not heat. Not recommended for immersion of electric motors.

Immerse small parts; apply to large parts by brush, or spray, or re-circulating pump. Let soak and brush if needed. Use air hose to blow off dissolved oil and solvent.

Cardisolv #STM has a slow evaporation rate and is recommended for use in soak tanks and re-circulation tanks where solvent may be kept in tanks for long periods and changed only when saturated with removed oils. Cleaned parts are rust resistant for several days.

Removes petroleum-base oils and greases, cleans wet paint brushes, removes vegetable oils and animal fats, but is not as effective as other Cardinal solvents on carbon, asphalts, or metallic-soap lubricants.

Does not affect dry paint. Harmless to metals, textiles, glass, plexiglass, formica, porcelain, rubber, neoprene. May be used as a diluent with Cardinal emulsifiable solvents and with most non-emulsifiable solvents.

Use Precautions

Harmful or fatal if swallowed. Combustible. Contains petroleum hydrocarbons. Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame. Keep container closed. Use with adequate ventilation. Do not take internally. Avoid prolonged inhalation of vapor. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. If swallowed, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING; call physician at once.
