Hand Dishwashing Liquid
USDA Authorized Formula
For Hand-Washing of the Following:
Dishes
Counter-tops
Glasses
Refrigerators
Silverware
Booths
Utensils
Etc.
Use ½ ounce per gallon of hot water for normal dishwashing. For very oily food residue, increase to 1 ounce per gallon of hot water. For maximum foam, place detergent in sink first and then add water at maximum pressure. Soak or wash dishes clean, rinse in hot water, let air-dry.
To remove baked-on or burned food from utensils, soak in a solution of about 2 ounces per gallon of hot water.
Also excellent for hand-laundering of fine fabrics. Use 1 ounce per gallon of water, hot or cold; launder by mild agitation, rinse.
This product is acceptable as a general cleaning agent on all surfaces, or for use with steam or mechanical cleaning devices in all departments of official establishments operating under the Federal meat, poultry, shell egg grading, and egg products inspection programs.
Before using this compound, food products and packaging materials must be removed from the room or carefully protected. After using this compound, surfaces must be thoroughly rinsed with potable water.
Properties
Clear blue liquid. Pleasant odor. Very mild to skin. High foam. Biodegradable. Non-Flammable. Low viscosity permits drawing up to 13 ounces per gallon into an automatic feed system through a venture-injector or similar suction device.
